Inspiration
The thing that actually made me want to write a poem about the unfortunate lifestyles of some people, is what we are learning in social studies. I read many books about immigration recently and found them fascinating. Even though this is not exactly about immigration, that definitely tied into my idea of writing a poem along with many articles and books I've read this week.

This is so interesting. i am happy you got inspired by immigration. I think it'll be interesting what you poem turns out to be. i hope you have a good poem. Also, you should let ms. maier read it. Nice job getting inspired off of social studies.
